Okay, mason wrote a book or three with sklansky, so he must be alright. Not sure if any of his three essay books are any good, or which ones I might need.
I am an intermediate player, small stakes, play online. Particularly interested in examples of post flop play (like sklansky and ed miller and mason malmuth do in SSHE), have ordered TOP and HOH1+2 (not here yet)
Anyone care to comment on Malmuth's three essay books?

I've got 'em. I like 'em. Just like the titles suggest, they are collections of thoughts and "musings"; it's not designed to be a strategy-heavy read like SSHE or HEFAP. Different people will get something different out of his essays, but I certainly enjoyed them and would recommend them. If you're on the fence about buying them, go to Barnes and Noble or Borders and read a few pages to see if you like it.
