I'm a holdem player learning Omaha. The few times I've played PlO I've found that it can be very lucrative. But this has spawned a few basic strategy questions I know you guys can help with. I know some of the questions may depend on the players or pot size but I'm just looking for some generally correct answers.

Nut OESD and Flush draws on flop:
Are odds still ~2:1 to catch by river like in HE?
Ep - Do you bet out or try to catch nuts cheap? If it's correct to bet, how much?
Lp - Do you raise a modest bet?

Trips on flop:
Do you bet the pot to deter draws every time? What about with 2nd or
3rd best set?

How is the variance in comparison to LHE?

PLO hi is almost all about position.

Draws to the nuts hav value, draws to the second or third nuts are useless. Straight draws on boards with redraws are fairly uselss.

You need to adjust your pot odds when drawing because a paired board card that makes a nut flush is ussually worthless, and a straight card that makes a flush is 99% useless.
