played 2 in the last week and finished in the 14th and 18th outta 450ish.

can do fairly well nut pedlin and being somewhat aggresive til 40ish left then i seem to be on a desperate BB downswing. i just cant seem to crack the top 10.

any advice?

also...when blinds get high and its folded to me in late/mid position...whta types of hands should i bet raising? can i raise only high potential hands?

anyone who can give any tips on O8(l) Mtt's please help.

If it's folded to you on the button raise anything that's not completely unplayable.

Realize that you'll still end up folding a lot of flops if you're bet into.

In the final stages when bets represent a larger proportion of most players' stacks, these tourneys need to be played much more like PLO8 IMO, since mistakes get punished severely.

A few suggestions:

Hands wil typically be only 2-4 players, so if someone bets into you, don't chase for half the pot.

Don't be afraid to be the aggressor after the flop - but be prepared to slow down if opponents don't go away and you don't hit.

Look to Open-Raise preflop with anything decent, especially in late position.

Be very selective about entering a pot behind someone else.
