5 max, i'm playing slightly outta my bankroll. I had planned on only playing 5/10 SH with a 5k bankroll, but found a juicy game and decided to sit with a 3,500 br.

[ I posted results in small print...plz dont read until after you post comments or w/e ]

I sat with 35 bets.

Hand 1

PRE-FLOP

UTG raises, I 3 bet, BB calls, UTG calls.

I 3 bet here on the button against UTG who is very aggressive. I had 8 icon_suit_club.gif 8 icon_suit_spade.gif I wanted to isolate against the blinds. BB is a LAG.

FLOP [ 6 icon_suit_heart.gif ,5 icon_suit_spade.gif ,9 icon_suit_heart.gif ]

bb checks, UTG checks, I bet, bb raises, UTG 3 bets, I call

TURN [ 6 icon_suit_heart.gif ,5 icon_suit_spade.gif ,9 icon_suit_heart.gif ,3 icon_suit_spade.gif ]

bb checks, UTG bets, I fold, bb calls

RIVER [ 6 icon_suit_heart.gif ,5 icon_suit_spade.gif ,9 icon_suit_heart.gif ,3 icon_suit_spade.gif J icon_suit_club.gif ]

bb checks, UTG checks

The 3 bet on the flop had me confused. I thought he might have a set of 6s, or maybe A9. I call with the gutshot. Turn I'm not sure if thats a bad fold or not...I know I'm behind and I'm not worried about the bb, but UTG I am. I reluctantly fold...

Ok, This was probably the first time i've ever gone for back to back c/r and have it worked. I normally lead the flop, lead the turn, lead the river. But this guy was so laggish I thought I'd try and be cute and get two c/r in. Worked this time, and I wasn't gonna try again.

I thought I was ahead preflop but decided against the cap. If I cap I'm not sure how the flop/turn will go...so meh..

Hand 3

PRE-FLOP
all fold to me in sb with A icon_suit_diamond.gif 5 icon_suit_heart.gif - I usually raise here but BB is a bad LAG player (same from first hand) and I do not want to put in a lot of money with him right now (yea i know i have an edge), but I will let him bet for me.

UTG folds, CO folds, btn folds, I complete, bb raises, i call.

FLOP [ 2 icon_suit_diamond.gif ,Q icon_suit_spade.gif ,6 icon_suit_heart.gif ]

I check, bet, call

TURN [ 2 icon_suit_diamond.gif ,QS,6 icon_suit_heart.gif ,2 icon_suit_club.gif ]

I check, bet, call

RIVER [ 2 icon_suit_diamond.gif ,Q icon_suit_spade.gif ,6 icon_suit_heart.gif ,2 icon_suit_club.gif ,A icon_suit_club.gif ]

I check, bet, call

I know I could have got more value outta my hand (IE raise the flop/turn/or preflop), but as I said, I wanted to keep this pot small and I was going to call down regardless of the board. I played this hand passively on purpose...but is that just stupid to do?

I'm not gonna play 5/10 SH much. I really just did cause of this guy..but I held my own against some of the other real aggressive players and I'm really looking forward to finally moving up.

Just thought I'd post 3 hands...see if i got any useful comments. thx.
