CobaltBlue
Bodog 1/2 Limit (8-handed)

Cobalt is CO w/ 9 icon_suit_spade.gif 8 icon_suit_spade.gif. Button is a LP donkey. No reads on others.

Pre-flop:
2 folds, MP1 calls

Flop (4 players): Q icon_suit_heart.gif 8 icon_suit_heart.gif 8 icon_suit_club.gif
SB checks, BB bets

Turn (3 players): 2 icon_suit_diamond.gif
BB bets

River (2 players): A icon_suit_diamond.gif
BB bets

Final Pot: 11 BB

Pre-flop call is marginal. I'd expected the button to limp in after me. I normally raise this flop, but I got fancy and decided to go it slow. Everything look okay?

And a little low-strat bonus hand where my bet/raise button got stuck...

With the flush draw out I would raise. Anyone with a flush draw is calling anyway and you wan to charge them as many bets as you can.

I don't in positon.

I play it the same.

Good luck.

Yeah, on the turn smile.gif

The only reason raising this flop might work out ok is if someone three-bets you and leads the turn thining YOU're on a flush draw.

Good luck.

Hand 1: I think waiting for a safe turn to make your raise is AOK. NH

Hand 2 is a great example of why, in so many situations in SSHE, you simply can't slowdown until/unless you meet aggression. NH

In hand 1, there are enough cards that can come on the turn that could cripple your hand. Charge them bigger bets with higher equity if you like money.

As an aside, anyone raising preflop here?

I'm confused. What are you saying? What year is it?

Who am I?

I'm just saying I like waiting for the turn to raise.

(nod) Okay. I was confused. I thought you were suggesting that bad cards could come and kill our action/hand, so we should pummel the flop.
