You're not a six max player untill you have two 250BB downswings in a month, and then a 300BB one to start the next month off, and finsish up 750BB for the two months.

You haven't seen variance yet.

Lets just say some of the stats I have run on some of my opponents are just sick.

I had a couple guys at my table once, they were both in the 30% range preflop raise.

I got lucky because one was on my immediate right, nothing better in poker.

and, i think my problem last time was IGNORING my stop loss when i took a shot. what SHOULD have been just a standard 20 BB downswing at $10/$20 became a 45 BB downswing because i couldn't bring myself to leave the game.

I have no experience with playing over my bankroll though, it might work for some people.

I'm super strict with my bankroll.

I was playing 25nl forever, and then playing 50 nl forever. (well partly being overly cautious with roll, and partially sucking so much b/c of tilt and such I could never move up

Anyway. There's really no reason to play over your roll. Just grind out a million bazillion hands like crazy until you can move up without any threat to your bankroll, you play with much more confidence and ease that way, imo.

From now on, whenever someone deems it appropriate to play our of their bankroll, they will see if I am on AIM and ask me if they should.

If after talking to me they are not convinced, they will then pour water on their keyboard and hit their mouse with a $50 guitar belushi style.

It will be much more enjoyable talking to me than losing money, and the $50 guitar will be put to its second of two uses, still costing the person in question less than 2k-12k.
