MP1 is 21-9-1.0 (86 hands). I felt I was outkicked here, but does the potsize warrant a call down? Also, against a 1.0 is the C/R good on the flop?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Qc], [Jc].
2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (5.33 SB) [9c], [3h], [Js] (2 players)

Turn: (5.66 BB) [5s] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.66 BB

After looking over the hand again I have another problem with my play. Should I call the 3 bet if I will fold unimproved on the turn?

Looks more like an overpair than AJ or KJ.

I like it. With his stats, he's a passive player.

The only thing I don't like about hands like these is that he's probably smart enough to play position, so he could be three betting you on the flop with a hand like AK or 10 10 and then betting out on the turn when you show weakness, and if you do call, he knows he's taking a free showdown on the turn.

I've been playing a lot of 3/6 limit recently on stars, and I think my line on this hand would be:

Bet/three bet the flop
Lead/fold to raise turn if he didn't cap flop, if he capped flop I would check/fold
Check/call river UI

*that may just be the worst way to play it wink.gif , so someone give me a better line.

Even if you know you will fold turn UI, I think you have enough outs that you can see the turn for one small bet and punish him if you catch up.

you played it fine.

the only other line ill ever take with a hand like this if it's heads up is to check/call the flop and lead the turn.
