anybody have any comment on this book?
It was recommended to me by a decent player, but before I lay down $, I would love to hear from someone that has read it.

Are you going to be playing live a lot? Then get the book, it's worthwhile.
Online players need not apply.

If you're a bad player, it will make you worse.
The most noticable affect of the book is a bad player will always have a reason to call.

The book is worth the money. Also if you can come across his VHS's and DVD's I would advise watching them.

It's especially good if you're going to play poker in a 70's porn flick.

I would advise not watching them unless you're an insomniac. THEY WILL PUT YOU TO SLEEP HOLY SH
IT THEY SUCK!
If you want to buy Caro's DVD's for cheap, PM me, I'm more than willing to get rid of them...

I have not read the book but my brother can not stop raving about it. We play heads up pretty often and i used to be able to consistently beat him. but since he read it he seriously has become a way better player and consistently beats me as of late.

Caro's Book of Tells is fantastic, but I'd also like to recommend "Beyond Tells" by James McKenna. It's also a very good book because it categorizes a lot of Caro's tells and the other poker psychology works a bit more.
