I like hand number one's check/call. I've been check/calling a lot lately when I am not sure about my hand.

The river is a scare card, he seems like he could Easily be on a heart draw and if he was what happens when you bet? He raises and you make a crying call?

See the showdown for one bet.

In hand number two, well that just sucks.. easy fold if CO calls? Or do you still go for the overcall, I think the pots big enough to justify your calling here but I don't think you won smile.gif

jayson, I don't think that there is a chance in hell that we can overcall hand 2, I just don't see how we can beat two hands with that board.

I hated the river check in hand 1 until I noticed the flush card came, I like the river check a lot more

I definitely check the river in hand 1 - but I think I check/fold this (although, I sometimes think I fold too many rivers). You have just about the worst hand you possibly could. Without a read that he's a total donk, I don't see many hands that you can beat here that he comes this far with - Probably A4, 65s, or a middle pocket pair for typical players at this level, but anything else? I doubt we're ahead 20% of the time here against any halfway decent player....

I wasn't asking you smile.gif It's a no brainer, but some people (most) go ahead and call anyways..

stfu noob laugh.gif . Well, then it needed to be said for those that would overcall that river in hand 2. I think people forget a lot that you need a pretty strong hand to overcall on the river

overcalling the river = -EV... It's probobly where I make the most money off of donks wink.gif We all love the overcallers.

Saw a guy overcall with ace-high twice the other night.
