Shorthanded table, which I hate, but ya takes what you can get. Nobody folds once they start unless someone pairs onthe board.

Stage #171986776: Seven Card Normal $0.50/$1 [ 2005-08-17 12:42:44 ]
ROCKETWAD - Ante $0.02,Q - Ante $0.02, W - Ante $0.02, H - Ante $0.02
ROCKETWAD - Pocket [Kd,5d,Ad]
W - Bring-In $0.20 (7h), H - Folds (Jc), ROCKETWAD - Raises $0.20 to $0.50, Q - folds (10s), W - Calls $0.30

Standard raise here?

*** 4TH STREET ***
ROCKETWAD - Pocket [Kd,5d,Ad,10d]
W - Pocket [H,H,7h,2h]
ROCKETWAD - Bets $0.50
W - Calls $0.50

He caught a low, but make him pay for half, right? Nobody folds so far, so why wait until 5th IMO...

*** 5TH STREET ***
ROCKETWAD - Pocket [Kd,5d,Ad,10d,4d]
W - Pocket [H,H,7h,2h,3h]
ROCKETWAD - Bets $1
W - Calls $1

He might have half the pot wrapped up, but I have a flush already (unless he gets straight flush I should be freerolling). Keep pumping right?

*** 6TH STREET ***
ROCKETWAD - Pocket [Kd,5d,Ad,10d,4d,Ac]
W - Pocket [H,H,7h,2h,3h,3c]
ROCKETWAD - Bets $1
WOZZER72 - Calls $1

Bad card for him to get. Maybe I am about to be scooped? Lets find out with a bet, right, as opposed to checking?

*** RIVER ***
ROCKETWAD - Pocket [Kd,5d,Ad,10d,4d,Ac,8d]
WOZZER72 - Pocket [H,H,7h,2h,3h,3c,H]
ROCKETWAD - Bets $1
WOZZER72 - Calls $1

No raise, so I am not scooped.

*** SHOW DOWN ***
ROCKETWAD - Show cards [Kd,5d,Ad,10d,4d,Ac,8d]
WOZZER72 - Lost mucks

He chased the entire way for half the pot, and missed.

Should I have kept pumping like I did until I met resistance?

Im no stud genius, but I say you played it fine. And as far as I'm concerned... his three pairing was a GREAT card for you. He could have three threes, two pair, or now still only be 4 to a low. All of wich would call you down.

My biggest concern though was what would this guy be calling me with all that time, especially when I had 3 to the flush showing? I have tried to put myself in his shoes with a range of hands that I would play like that, and am having trouble doing so (coming up with hands that don't have me beat for high and/or win the low). :?

FWIW, I play it the same.
