i got poker tracker omaha a few days ago, just the demo.

for the past week or two, i've been playing nothing but omaha hi/lo on pacific poker (one table). mostly i'm playing $5/$10 if there's a game going, sometimes $3/$6 or $2/$4 if there's no game going, and once in a while i take a shot at $10/$20 if there's a game going and it looks good.

since getting poker tracker, i've been on a huge cold streak. the downswing has been pretty big for omaha standards. btw, it has nothing to do with poker tracker, it's not like i'm changing my play because of it.

i know these samples are tiny, but i think they're semi-big enough to have fairly accurate numbers like VP$IP and such. again, i don't care about BB/100 as i know it's meaningless with a size this small, but with my BB/100 being in the red right now for all three levels for the past few days, it's really been bugging me.

just looking, it seems that i'm tremendously more passive at the $10/$20 level, and that's probably an issue of scared money. alternatively, it could be that the game tends to be juicier (looser, more aggressive), so i don't bet/raise as much unless i have the goods.

For what it's worth my VP$IP at 10/20 after half a million hands or so is 15, my river AF is 2.5.

My Went to SD, though is 28%. I think I'm probably folding a lot more flops than you are. (Or winning more pots without showing down)

Seems weird that you are on a big downswing with those VP$IP numbers (which imply that you are only playing great hands IMO). I think this is why Omaha 8 is such an appealing game and you see so many fish playing it, as it can be very frustrating to lose with the best hands...

Most of your stats look really good except your win at showdown is a lot lower than it should be probably, but that could be indicative of this cold streak you have had. I, like you ironically, decided to download the sample Poker Tracker Omaha, and play on Pacific. From my sample, the average win at showdown percentage for the TABLE is 57%, similar to your percentage. This is the big leak for you right now. You definitely want to be above 65% probably. This may be because of your cold streak though....or you're holding onto your A2 too long when something crappy like a 2 hits. I assume it's probably the former. If I ever play against you...I'll have to watch my ass...lol

Fortunately for myself, I have had a fairly good run since getting Poker Tracker on Friday ($1/$2 hi/lo at Pacific)...so be warned the stats I show are biased a bit in the other direction. I've got decent cards, decent flops, few suckouts against me, and a decent number of "BB specials". Including a $30 one tonight.

Poker Tracker rates me as a "Good Player" (<22% VP$IP & >65% W$ at SD)
I have 5 "Good Players" in my database vs. 29 Fish....lol
