i'm MP with A
i open-limp, button raises, button calls, BB calls.
button's stats over 40 hands (he's clearly VL/A-P):
VP$IP - 90%
PFR% - 48%
PAF - 0.79
(9 SB) Q
BB checks, i bet, button raises, BB folds, i call.
(6 BB) 10
i check, button bets, i call.
(8 BB) K
i check, button bets, i fold.
i was unsure between a checkraise on the flop and just leading out.
the main thing was, the button wasn't aggressive at all postflop, so i wasn't sure he'd bet if i checked, and i felt that missing out on bets here would pass up on too much of equity.
also, i wasn't sure if i minded the raise as it increased the chances of my high holding up heads-up and improved the chances i could scoop or 3/4. so if i bet and the button raised, i promoted my high.
but the low didn't get there, and i just couldn't imagine him betting on the river with anything that i could beat. again, he was passive postflop, so it wasn't a tough decision to fold the river at all, but i'm mainly wondering about my flop play.
