Just wondering.

my bed makes itself

I only make the bed when company is coming and when I change the sheets. And company has to be someone that doesn't know my inner slob. Best friends, parents, brothers/sister - none of these warrant bed making. Grandparents - bed gets made. I figure I'm getting right back in it anyway and I like to cocoon in my covers. If I made the bed everyday I'd spend 5 minutes every night just mushing up the covers into the little nest I like so why cause myself more work in the end? Impeccible logic, no?

Why do you ask? Is Nik a neat freak?

No, but I can't sleep in a bed where the covers are all messed up. If I have neglected to make the bed during the day, I will make it before I get in it.

That's so funny. My husband and I argue about this all the time. He likes a made bed too with military corners and the sheets all straight and shit. When I was single, I wouldn't even tuck the sheets under the mattress. I like the covers all bunched up. Most people hate to sleep with me cause I'm a messy sleeper. Covers all over the place, huge stacks of pillows, and I often lay crooked across the mattress.

I guess Dave likes the bed made, too?

my bed acts like seating. I only bother washing my sheets and pillow covers, but I am also a messy person and am used to living in a messy room, though my place is extremely clean to what I am used to

I've made mine 2-3 times in the 18 months I've lived in my condo.

Dave considers bedmaking a waste of valuable time. He can sleep anywhere. Made bed, messy bed, no bed, whatever. He was reading in bed last night, and I hadn't made it that day. The bottom sheet was coming off, and the top sheet was all bunched up under the quilt. I had him get out of the bed so I could make it. I'd rather sleep on the couch than in a messy bed.

That's right! If I had a wife, I would make her make the bed.

Every every every day. Amazingy being responsible is easier than not being responsible for me.

And what I would make her do to you while your bent over that sawhorse...hamina...hamina...hamina

I would make it if I knew a chick was coming over, but after moving to a town where every female over the age of 23 is married, I say why bother.
custom36
1 time in the last year, probably. And that was when I had just moved into my dorm freshman year.

I'm thinking of ordering my own. That one belongs to my good friends in CA.
