I only make the bed when company is coming and when I change the sheets. And company has to be someone that doesn't know my inner slob. Best friends, parents, brothers/sister - none of these warrant bed making. Grandparents - bed gets made. I figure I'm getting right back in it anyway and I like to cocoon in my covers. If I made the bed everyday I'd spend 5 minutes every night just mushing up the covers into the little nest I like so why cause myself more work in the end? Impeccible logic, no?
Why do you ask? Is Nik a neat freak?
No, but I can't sleep in a bed where the covers are all messed up. If I have neglected to make the bed during the day, I will make it before I get in it.
That's so funny. My husband and I argue about this all the time. He likes a made bed too with military corners and the sheets all straight and sh
it. When I was single, I wouldn't even tuck the sheets under the mattress. I like the covers all bunched up. Most people hate to sleep with me cause I'm a messy sleeper. Covers all over the place, huge stacks of pillows, and I often lay crooked across the mattress.
I guess Dave likes the bed made, too?
