The game is NL 20-man tournament where everyone starts with 1000 chips. I have around 1600 chips and blinds are 25/50. I get dealt 10 10 in the button and a guy raises it UTG+1 to 100 but it's 5-man shorthanded so it doesn't necessarily mean he has a big hand, if anything he's weak with the small raise. so i made it 400 to go. the guy right after me calls and he has 600 left. utg+1 also calls. 3 to the flop. flop is Q Q 9. SB goes all in for 600 chips. UTG+1 folds. I called but i felt it was wrong. The guy turns over Ace 9 and my 10's hold up. Did i make a mistake by calling? I had no read on the guy.

If you were first to act, you would have bet out right? So, since he bet out, easy call IMO. If he caught a queen so be it, but you are good here more often than not IMO to someone who only called your raise pre-flop as opposed to re-raising. 8)
