This guy is unreal. He has been tearing up UB for a while now. The report says he won 12 seats to the UB Aruba tournament. Then he won 9 more to another tournament. The Aruba seats are worth over $100k alone. I've heard a lot about this guy. I guess he's for real.

The tournament report says the only internet player better the Savage is Eric Sagstrom (Eric123) who has won a reported $10 mil on the internet. I don't really want to get into who's the best internet player, but damn, that nuts.

Chris plays under brsavage on both stars and UB. He's a hell of a player.

Aruba seats I believe were $6600 with a couple thousand for travel. not $100k.

And was this the LIMIT tourney that he won? Hasn't the main event not begun yet?

gotcha. misunderstood the 'alone' part. knew i could count on smash to correct me.

speaking of UB top players though, what ever happened to Sprit Rock on there. Prahleid Friedman. he was completely nutty and supposedly was one of the biggest online winners. anyone know?

how in demand were those aruba seats, could he have sold them for profit at all, and how would that work with him selling the seats, just wondering

Just a couple of clarifications. THe Aruba seats this year were worth $10k package. The $6200 went to the prize pool and buy in, the remaining $3800 were for travel and hotel. For any multiple Aruba winners they got the entire prize package value. This would make his 12 wins worth $120k. As for spirit rock, he is currently playing under the name mahatma. He simply switched names.

It depends on the rules UB set out. I've seen three different types of rules for these super satellite seat payouts.

1. you can win one seat and one seat only. if you enter another super satellite and win, you get the cash credited to your account instead of a voucher for a seat.

2. you can win one seat and one seat ly. if you enter another super satellite and win, you get nothing. they usually put a warning about this in the information like 'do not enter another one of these tourneys if you've already won a seat because you will not be credited with a second seat and you will not receive the cash value of the seat.

3. you can win multiple seats and sell any or all of your seats for whatever price you wish. if someone wants to pay more than it is worth, fine. i doubt this happens unless they've capped the # of players and it is sold out. someone might pay more because they really want to get in. but usually its probably selling it for face or a little less.

speaking of which, if anyone has ultimatebet TECs they want to sell, PM me and i'll take them off your hands.

Apparently Spirit Rock aka Mahatma has switched names again... idunno how they keep letting him switch though. I guess when you put that much into the rake you have a little more sway...

OIC. is he Mahatma now or something different?

As for switching names, I don't think UB really cares. I personally have three separate accounts on UB just because I don't like playing under the same name for everything.

I believe Friedman now plays on Full Tilt.. I could be mistaken...His name on FTP is Perry Friedman and he has his own Avatar.
