well i've only ever played omaha H/L cash games, but decided to try a tourney tonight (as ive managed to be consistently successful at the cash tables). placed 15th out of about 500 ppl or so (45 places paid).

i was really trying to make the final table but it just wasn't to be. went all-in as the short stack preflop (had about 10k left or so w/blinds at 3,000/6,000) w/A2 XX. i did this mainly because there were 2 ppl already in for 12,000.

of course the low never came, so i was out in 15th.

does anybody else play these 08b tourneys? and what do you think about this play at such a late stage of the tourney?
