I kept getting a good price the whole way.

Although, they do say, donkies always draw...

Tight/passive table. Im still playing really tight, probably around 17%, my shorthanded table is screwing up my stats on stars.

One day I will one into a villian I have stats on, this is getting ridiculous.

Ah, what a silly hand this was. What's the optimal bet on river, I gotta make up for the price of my draw, that's my main question here. I really had villian pegged for a big hand he wanted action on, turn check was confusing though...

he has $82 going into the river..

he may have slowed down on the turn cuz he might be a "good" player and noticed you smooth called two bets....so maybe he put you on a set if he had a hand like AK..although i think it's more likely he has the set since he limped UTG. maybe 88 or 66.

that being said. on the river I think we can lead for about $40 - $45 and expect to get called most of the time.

do you have any reads on this guy?

No :-(

I am working on it, my database is getting larger, and I do know a lot of the players.

THe only thing is I just don't focus intently on each of my tables. Which is why I'm probably going to buy pokertracker today so I can put stats with each one of my posts :-)
Jordan
what did you lead for and why?

I lead for all in:

On flop I thought he was really strong, and I ignored any information I could've got by his turn check.

I really thought he would pay it off, my gin card was harmless to the board.

However, I was taking a risky draw, and then he gave me a free card, thus making my price even better. I'm losing long run if I don't get anything extra out of it, so I think my all in was a mistake, as that is a tough bet to call, maybe he just has two pair, who knows.

I like your line, leading for about 40.
Blink20
Then again...

8 to win 54 is almost 7-1 with two cards to come on a four outer, that is nice :-)

Anything extra I get is nice, if there's a chance he calls all in, maybe that's not a bad risk...
Jordan
i also like the all in. that was also a fine bet i think too.

when i posted i was going to post taht but wanted to ask you what you bet. i dont mind the all in here at all. it can easily look like a steal.

Blink,

How you finding the 9 man tables? Much more money making and less variance than at the short-handed tables?

I just did the short tables for a little change of pace.

I really like full tables. Been playing full handed nl ring games for like 8 months straight, so I guess im biased towards them.

Lots of donkish plays for some reason, a lot more than a couple months ago. Or Im just getting better, yeah right ;-)

I think the limit we're at, both are very profitable.

lead for 1/2 the pot, you want a call don't you? Also it would be funny(to me at least) if the villain hit a backdoor diamond draw with AK or Kx of diamonds.
