Gamesgrid 1/2; Tiltboy has been moaning about bad beats; on the previous hand, he lost to SB's call down with 23s when SB rivered a gut shot straight.

5 folds, Tilt Boy raises, 1 fold, I call
Pot ($4.50) Flop: 8d, 7s, Qc
I check, Tilt Boy checks ( I was going for the check raise, should I just bet here?)
Pot ($4.50) Turn: 7h
Check, Tilt Boy bets, I call (I should have bet and then missed a check/raise opportunity?)
Pot ($8.50) River: 8c
I bet, Tilt Boy calls

Kind of an ugly hand to be defending with, in my opinion. As for the play, I'm really unsure on a marginal hand like this. He could easily have something like tens here and refuse to fold no matter what you do.

I dont like defending w/ this either but since u did I wouldve c/r'd the flop just like u tried. Since the c/r didnt work I dont mind c/r'ing the turn when the board pairs, if hes on tilt he probably wouldve bet any flop that helped him.
