Flop bottom set on flush board. I think if I could redo this hand I would check/call the river since anything that is going to call my river bet has to have me beat I am assuming?

Thanks in advance for help

I don't see how you could have played it differently besides the river bet. He player it real passively, so even if you check the turn he might not bet hoping you would re-pop on the river. If you had a read on the guy as deceptive/slowplayer, you should have checked the river.

i also flopped middle set today on a flush board, and was betting into it like crazy..of course the guy with the suited AK sucked all my money from me.

in my defense i was multi-tabling and it was getting crazy at the particular moment...still was a bad call on my part

honestly, I'd go for teh stop n go set line here. Just call the flop raise, and then lead out the turn and three bet it. Most times you're up against a flush draw. I have no problems with how you played this hand at all

Dammit, I'm always too late. Wish there was a way to always start a post with, 'I agree with'. Although in this case I wouldn't three bet the turn if raised. While I often spew too much, all that cold calling would have me worried.
