my buddy believes i should have just called on the river, my logic was, i make more money in the long run by capping there, because although he may have QQ in this spot, most times he will not, plus i cannot cubbyhole him on a single hand, i have to keep him on a range of hands. AA and KK are probable, the 5 on the river counterfeits anyones 2 pair, so it is even more understandable he leads the river. . so in the long run i pick up more bets by capping the river with him than calling his bet, just by looking at it from the odds standpoint. please give me your 2 cents guys. thanks

rwood: it's not stupid. I wouldn't suggest that I can play at your level..but also i wouldn't suggest someone who posts this hand is much better...It does seem like a rather straight forward hand. Which is good to post when you are a mediocre player, such as I or anyone playing above their comfort level.
