Is it just me or does TV poker need more information displays onscreen?
They should give these big-big tournament final tables the same TV treatment as the NBA or NFL.
Seems like the whole WPT and WSOP experience would be better if they had more graphs etc showing everyones bet size relative to their stacks and the pot. maybe viewers who are unfamiliar with poker would have an easier time of understanding whatl is going on.
I would like to see things like who was winning money from what positions, and who was playing the most pots. perhaps and overhead view of the table [like on partypoker] with arrow flow charts showing whose chips are going where.
maybe some bar graphs showing everyones chips stacks would be much more illustrative of the table situation than the regular numerical chip counts, which they flash up for like 5 seconds.

of course the way they edit the hands, it might not really help at all.
i think this stuff would be much better on in a live pay-per-view broadcast of a final table, where they could show every hand.

Poker Million II has some neat little tweaks despite the occasional misreads and poor edits (vague references to hands that weren't shown).

1) The heart beat monitors are an interesting little feature.
2) They show the percentage of chips in play that each player has. (Yeah, it's not a difficult calculation...but it's handy.)
3) They sometimes tell the hand number.
4) Every now and then, they show number of pots played and number of pots won.
5) Maybe once every other show, they throw up a graph of one player's chip stack. I really wish they did more of that.

One thing that I dislike is that they don't show the percentages on the hands.

On a side note, has anyone noticed how crappily the Ultimatebet.Net show is produced? I know that they have a limited amount of time to put it all together, but the graphics glitch all the time. Oh, and the announcers are constantly screwing up while calling the action.
