I'm going the first weekend in April. Hold Em is the only game I know.
How soft are the low limit games? I'll probably be bringing about $500 with me.
As far as my skill level ...
Um, I can do well up to the $2/4 on PokerStars. Above that, my bankroll is too low and I start missing some of the more intricate strategy moves.

well depends on what you play there.
they run a 2/4 and 4/8 limit game. The 2/4 is what you would expect from a .10/.20 table online. 7 player flops, people calling down to the river with bottom pair, everything you see online you will see here.
The 4/8 is alittle step up from this. Not to much but you will run into some people that have a somewhat better knowledge of the game.
They also run a 1/2 NL $100 max buy in which is a decent game. It's filled with a lot of younger "poker superstars" who like to emulate what they see on tv. The game is pretty easy to crack if you play kinda tight, and patient.
Besides that, they run a tourney just about every week night or week morning that are multi table and pretty fun.

the 1-2NL 100 Max at Foxwoods is a terrible game. I think its either a $3 or $4 time charge per dealer switch so its almost 10% of your buy in an hour that is coming off the table. Not worth it in my opinion.
the 5-10 with a kill is a great game at the woods. expect a very loose aggressive table up there....no matter what game you play.
good luck.
