Just went on to to amazon.com look at the reviews of each book, and was shocked at how popular they were. Volume II, The Endgame is the 18th bestseller, and Volume I, Strategic Play was ranked 19th.

The books are extremely good. I own both, but I've only read half of volume 1 so far. Get them when you can you wont be disappointed.
Suited_Up
The 2 best poker books I own. Especially vol 2. But both are must haves.

Pretty good books, got them at bn.com because my sister is a card member and they get discounts that made it cheaper then amazon plus they don't delay free shipping orders like amazon.

the only thing i get annoyed with is the examples and problems where they make obvious errors they should've caught with any proofreading. try to see if amazon will let you choose the second printings if they have any. it'll say on the title page which printing it is.

i own neither. i'm not much of a tournament player.

i was at barnes and noble the other day, hoping that they carried greenstein's new book so that i could flip through it (i like to read books at b&n for half an hour or so before deciding whether to invest the money in it through amazon laugh.gif ).

i found both books on the shelves, and i had heard so much great stuff about the chapter on inflection points in volume 2. so, i picked it up and read the whole chapter.

brilliant stuff. really brilliant. i learned a ton in reading that.

anyway, when i get around to finishing my other seven awesome poker books on hold, those are next on my list of books to buy and read. hopefully i'll get more interested in tournaments then, too.
