Table is loose-passive ...
Pacific Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)
Preflop: Leaf is UTG+2 with [Jh], [Jc].
2 folds.
---> standard ...
Flop: (8.50 SB) [Qd], [4s], [Qc] (5 players)
SB checks, Leaf bets, SB calls.
---> standard ...
Turn: (6.25 BB) [7d] (4 players)
SB checks, Leaf bets, Leaf folds ...
--->Leading out is standard, right? No one showed any aggression on the flop.
--->Is folding to a check/raise at this loose-passive table also standard?

the pot's medium-big, so calling down isn't terrible, especially without a read.
but, if everyone at the table is really pretty passive as you say, folding is fine, too.
no real "standard" play without some kind of reads.

without a read, i'd lean towards folding if you're generalizing the table as passive.

Yeah, it was passive for sure. Table flop average close to 70%. Also, I just double checked stats on the turn check-raiser ... VP$IP of 61% ... post-flop aggression of .81

I think you have to call the hand down from that point on, rather than fold. SB could have a four, maybe even a 7 (hopefully just one or the other). Your betting out looks just like it would if you had ace king...less chance they have a queen IMO 8)

Odds are they have a set, a7 , or a pair higher than sevens. You should just bet and check on the river since you are most likely beat. hands they could have that beat you- qx, aa, kk, 44, 77. Hands they could reraise with- 88, 99, tt. If they are a moron they could have ak, 22-66, a straight draw, or a flush draw. Plus you have to worry about people slow playing sets or overpairs.

I think you're beat. If he's loose and passive, that's two reasons you have to believe that he's not bluffing.
Pot size is getting up there though, so calling down wouldn't be the absolute worst thing.
