Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not any well known poker pros play online. I like watching the pros play on tv, but I think it would be even more interesting to watch them play online as it would be live. I know most of them probably try to stay anonymous if they do play online, but I was wondering if anyone knows where I could watch any of them.

Yes, many of them play on-line. Goodluck on finding them however.

In last night's $20 NL hold-em tournament, David Williams (e.g. RugDoctor) was playing in it on pokerstars.

His icon is "a scale/balance" - nice touch.

There were over 800 entrants and he was doing pretty well when I busted out in 39th.

A lot of chatter from visitors asking why he was playing in a $20 online tournament. He didn't chat very much at all - probably a wise idea with all the questions and comments being thrown at him from the peanut gallery.

Until I busted out, he was to the immediate left of me for the last hour - very aggressive player; he was really pushing around the other players including me.

It was great to just watch him play though - although my ability to limp in or to steal blinds basically went to 0 for the last hour!

There are a lot of pro players on UB. I downloaded the ultimate buddy thing to keep track of when they are online. Scott Fischman (emptyseat88) is always on there. He's been playing a lot of Omaha 8/b lately. Josh Arieh, Phil Helmuth, Annie Duke, Dave 'devilfish' Ulliot, Shaun Rice and Freddy Deeb are just some of the players you'll find.

I first started playin online last year at UB...only becuz i knew pros played there...and i could track 'em with ub buddylist.
