Full Version: ub,, has done me wrong "no bad beat story"

i have some important information to tell you all.. the past month or
so 50 bucks from my Ultimate bet account was withdrawl into a citadel
account. the funny thing is I DONT HAVE A CITADEL ACCOUNT!! i only use
firepay to withdrawl or deposit to UB. I 've sent many emails to UB
asking them why my money was withdrawal into a citadel account they
told me something like i dont need to worry that the money was
going to be deposited directly to my bank account number.. confused i
decided to wait and wait after a week has past i contacted
UB and told them that i never recieved my money. they told me that they
were sure they sent the money into my citadel account that they gave me
a reference number and with that number I contact citadel and let them
know reference number and wanted to know what bank account number they
sent the money to.. they did just that they sent me the last three
digits of the bank account number that they sent the money to.. and
guess what the last three digits of the bank account number WAS NOT
MINE.
now im very upset first with UB how in the world can they send my money
into a citadel account to begin with, then how can they tell me
that its all normal that i should be reciving my money soon cmon
thats ridicules.
alright i know all you poker players like seeing proof so
im going to let u see some emails that UB have sent to each other.

i sent a email to fire pay and this is what they said "it shoudl be
noted that any transfer from a merchant to your firepay personal
account will post to your account in real-time if the transfer does not
show up in your firepay personal account it is only because the
merchant has not actually sent the funds yet please contact the
merchant to verify the funds are

(ub email) dear joel, your recent withdrawls was NOT with firepay,
but direct seposit to your bank account, via citadel please check your
bank account regards frank memeber service.

citadel?? I DO NOT HAVE A CITADEL ACCOUNT!!! the only withdrawls and
deposites that i use on UB is firepay thank you joel.

the request was made from the Ub program as a direct deposit. we
verified with citadel who is our processor that the account information
they had matched ours. please check your bank account and see if 50 was
recieved there

i've contacted citadel and they have told me on dec 20.04 they
deposited 50 to a bank that the last three digits are 6xx... and those
three digits our NOT MINE!! im very upset with this matter i hope u can
fix this problem asap ... joel

in regards to your inquiry , i have contacted citadel to initiate are
trieval on credit in question note that UB does not have access to your
bank account details we send your transfers using banking details that
are provided by you once I recieve an update from citadel on the
situation we will contact you

theyre were a lot of more emails bascially giving me the round
around either way just wanted the poker world to know that anything can
happen that poker sites are not perfect joel

I ENDING UP SENDING EMAILS TO THE SITE ADMINISTATOR AND HE SORTED IT OUT

If you'd just call them it would make it much easier.
I only use e-mail support when it regards simple matters.

i finally got my money and this is what they said

you sent my money to THE WRONG BANK ACCOUNT and you DO NOT EVEN GIVE a
FORMAL APOLOGY!!!!!! i had to waste some of my time just to get MY MONEY
BACK!! and thats all you tell me is that i should be expecting my money in
my UB account soon... all i can say to that is **** YOU!!! how do u like
them apples..

I've been using UltimateBet exclusively for about 2 years now and I have never had a problem with making withdrawals and I usually make one once a month.

What you have to understand is this is a business. Businesses are run by people and people makes mistakes. And since the mistake affected you, you had to spend the time to fix it since you knew what was wrong. If you're going to get upset every time something like this happens in your life, you in for a rude awakening.

The only problems I've had money-wise on UB would be that a tournament or STT froze or I was disconnected thru no fault of my own. I'd give a quick email to support and they'd have a refund credited to my account within a day.

I find that UB has responded well to any support or problems I've had in the past and I hope they keep it up in the future.

Just think, I could have been a lot worse. You could have joined Dutch Boyds online poker room which would have left you broke and him paying tournament fees with your money! Look at the bright side.

First you have to understand that i was working withUb close to a month to get this fix.. they were just giving me the round around until i contacted citadel and forward all UB emails that is when everything got fix within 2 days.. now is that really good service from UB??? no it was great service from Citadel. That is the reason why im so upset because Ub then not fix this problem in a timly matter and they were screwing me off until i had to do the all the work by myslf and contacted citadel. to make matters worse Ub did not even apologies.


I know every body does mistakes thats not what im mad about, i was upset with how they treated the problem and how they dealt with it..


P.S UB DOES NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER!!!
