on the button with pkt 10s.... ep raises, i 3bet, bb calls and ep calls

flop is 5a10 all of hearts...bb raises, i 3 bet he caps

turn is the sweet sweet 5...Now maybe its me being to much of a pansy but i start wondering if he is holding aces...so i only allow 3 bet

river is 4 of heats....i only let a 3 bet happen again and he shows kq of hearts and i take it down

I think i missed a few bets but i just had a feeling he could have aces the way he was betting

my read on teh guy was as a semiloose aggresive player...he didnt call down without the nuts often.

should i have capped all rounds?

Lord no. I'm check/calling the river. The rest of the hand is fine.

why check call the river?

He cold called preflop, capped a 5A5 flop and didn't slow down. Would smell like an A to me.

i blame the beer in my hand for that mistake haha...that and the only thing i was thinkin about was that sweet 5 on the turn

Your opponent would have to be somewhat tricky to not cap AA pre-flop.

true...i dunno i just felt in my gut that maybe he was holding a better hand...at least the jack of hearts didnt come..that would have been no fun


on a side note i was down 50bb on the day and that led to a huge swing where i ended up 10 bb
