I'm just thinking about spots in tourneys that might cause some problems and looking for some answers.
Let's say you're decent stacked in a Multi table tourney 60 dollar buy in and I know you always want to accumulate chips but it's not the point where you need to start taking chances to double up and get into good position for the final table.
You're in early position and get Akoffsuit and raise. You get 1 caller and the flop comes Ace high with no flush or straight possibilities(unless backdoor). Now let's say you put your opponent on a pocket pair and you bet into him with your TPTK and he reraises you all in. He's semi-conservative, plays a decent amount of pots but is by no means a rock or some wild reckless raiser. I know you should always think everything through carefully but is this a case where you REALLY need to look deep inside yourself and find out whether you believe he flopped a made set or is this a case where you figure your TPTK is good and almost beat him into the pot? I personally would have a hard time laying this down but I think that is also a fault of mine.
I'm just trying to find different situations in tournaments that seem to come up a lot and can cost you a lot of chips.
Sorry if this is a donkey post but any help would be greatly appreciated.
