Let's say you're playing an Omaha-8 ring game with 10 people and you're UTG+1. You just arrived at the table and thus have no reads.
[edit]UTG[/edit] raises pot. What hands are you willing to call/raise with?
Here are some examples of borderline hands that I'd probably lay down - do you think I've drawn the line at the right place, am being too tight, or am being too loose?
AK29 single-suited
AA68 single-suited
A348 single-suited
9TJJ double-suited
9TJJ single-suited
TJQQ rainbow

I don't call my own raises. I'm too tough.
Assuming you mean UTG raises and you're next to act, probably a wide range of hands. That's not much of a raise. I try to isolate in position by pottig back with a fairly wide range too.
I'm exceptional postflop, though, so your milage may vary.

I wouldn't play those hands either. But I kind of suck - so that probably doesn't mean much.
