I know people should have the opportunity to rant and speak their mind because this is a forum, but anything can be said tastefully and with dignity. Personally attacks on player, the way they play, and their personal lives really doesnt interest me but it seems to be the focus of some people. My 2 cents (which is worth less than that probably) is that there is always going to be bad beats, people with personal problems, and people talking about both of them when it is not them. When you make an attack or very personal comment on someone, you should look in the mirror and think, what if someone else was saying this about me. I usually wouldnt even write anything like this, but have realized that a lot of attacks on a lot of different people have been taking place. It used to where people would make small jokes about plays and make comments in fun, but now they are starting to get to deep. I originally thought a higher buy in the tourny would have been better because I usually play higher limit games, but we have enough bickering from a 10.o0 tourney with less than 100 people. I mean come on guys. And for X3000GTX, sorry to blow your cover but I saw him playing on a 10.00 sng tourny single table. He told me that he wasnt Daniel, not like people didnt already know that. If people just drop it anyway, then it wouldnt be an issue. I know he is saying he is someone he is not, and that can be frustrating, but I swore that I had an imaginary friend named Marice that was a space cowboy when I was younger and swore he was real. Even though I knew he wasnt. To sum up this long post, sometimes letting things go and laughing it off will show you are the bigger man. Bringing up little things and looking for the bad in everything is not the way to live life. And if you are always looking for the bad, it will effect your play in poker. I guarantee that. Wishfull thinking, look what it did for Matthias Anderson, the screaming Swed.

I apologized in a different topic for claiming to be Daniel. I only did it to frustrate my opponents and win. At first I didnt see what was wrong with that, but it was brought to my attention that I may have been giving Daniel a bad name. I am sorry for that and it wasnt my intention. I will no longer claim to be Daniel, even tho I feel like trash talking is a part of poker and people should be free to say anything to benefit them in a game.

The other 19 posts that say this exact same thing weren't good enough, why?

Oh of course, you didn't start them.

You're a fool.

Between this and and the facism thread I'm starting to understand why we have so many laws that protect idiots from themselves, and why they put laugh tracks on sitcoms.

Thats just way too much understanding to try to take in all in one day....

Plus, I dont believe you.
I like my story about bluffing daniel negreanu out of pot way better than saying I bluffed xsomething or other gt another x out of a pot. When I say that, people say...who?

Of course, nobody believes the first story either....... except marice. Knew I could count on him.

lol seriously. People post topics about bad beats, then people explain to them how it was their bad play and it really wasn't a bad beat. So they lash out do to not being able to handle simple criticism. Or they most about how they did something wrong and everyone goes "ya that was dumb of you" once again they lash out.

While I can't say I entirely agree with some of the critiques', I can say that I gain something from them.
I've had a bad beat or two that when evaluated was more of a bad play. Invaluable lesson.

This is a game one pays to learn. One way or another. This site is going to have its stages, but through it all, it will be a quality site. Hey, the more chicken littles that leave, means the competition is at some levels, remaining stagnant. Good news for me.

In a long ago thread I saw where one person was looking for a coach and received a number of earnest and seemingly quality offers. Wow!

I almost emailed a few of them myself. But after looking through the recommendations I went to amazon and ordered some books. Figure I should do my part first. Somewhere I'm getting a nice break on my poker education.
I certainly can't complain about reduced tuition.
