howdy. i play a lot of stud, but am looking to venture out other sites. i play from .25/.50 to 1/2 depending on the site. i am looking for sites that have a cheap ante structure that favors my tight, conservative approach to stud---which is quite profitable with all the calling stations that fill the tables. id like to avoid a heavy ante site like ulitmate bet.
any recommendations?

Party Poker's 3/6 tables. Loosest games around with an ante structure that works well for tight players. .50 ante with $1 bring in. Thats the best i've found but I'm intersted in hearing any other replies.

Higher antes work better for a looser approach. The idea being there is more money in the pot inticing more people to play less than premium hands. A lower ante structure (~10%) favors a tight-conservative form of play. That being said, the higher tables at Party have a better ante structure than the lower. The .50/1 tables at party have a $.25 ante! 50%! Thats ridiculous!
I know Pacific poker has a $.05 ante on their $.50/$1 tables (10%) and the players are border-line retarded (at most levels not just the micro-limits) but the software sucks and you can only have one table open at a time. I'm keeping my eyes peeled..

Paradise poker has no ante up to .5/1, I believe.

poker rewards has extremely profitable stud tables with low antes as well. It's a PSO sight too, so i suggest all head there and do some fishing.
thanks for the comments!

Royal Vegas has a nice low 10% ante (.05 for .50/1.00)
Also their pot limit 7 stud has no ante - I don't know if that's standard

I play on PokerStars, usually 1/2, but 2/4 or 3/6 when those games are particularly good. PokerStars has a .10 ante and .50 bringin for the 1/2 game, and a similar structure for 2/4.
When I'm properly bankrolled for 3/6, I'll probably make the switch to Party. The competition on PokerStars is generally tougher, but I prefer playing the tighter structure to being forced to mix it up with marginal hands all the time.
