I'm currently in a monster downswing of over 200BB and thought I better get some help finding any leaks.

All my PT stats are hitting the sweet spot (using Ishmaels 2+2 figures) and my starting hands do indicate I'm getting cold carded (at least 1/3 down on being dealt AA, AK, KK, QQ and JJ for the last 11k hands, but 50% up on 22 )

Thought I'd should still post a few hands and ask for your opinions...

Sorry, no reads.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Ac], [Js].
7 folds, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) [2h], [8d], [4h] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3 BB) [Ad] (3 players)
SB bets, Button folds, SB calls.

River: (7 BB) [2s] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB

Call with AJo vs a button steal - should've 3-bet, yes or does the cold call from the SB slow anybody down?

Any thoughts on the rest of the hand?

I like it.

Why would bet/call from the SB scare you? His range of holdings here that call a river bet is pretty big. Easy river bet for value.

Sorry, my question was in relation to the preflop play, where after the raise from teh button and the call from the SB should I 3-bet?

Apologies.

What type of player was he? Especially from the blinds? If he's aggressive or loose, I'd probably be looking to 3-bet here, but I HATE creating stupidly large pots in opaque situations like this.

I think against most players, I'd flat call. You're just going to get 2 callers, but 1.5 more bets into the pot, and make the hand that much harder to play. I realize "difficult" doesn't mean "unprofitable," but I still just call.

Cheers

i'll 3-bet if the button raises light and the SB is a donk.
