Please at least bet the river, and with no reads I would cap it.

Yes, you're playing too passive.

First, don't limp UTG, especially not at .5/1. Raise or fold.

Flop looks good to me.

Turn is fine too, although a C/R might have gotten 1 or more extra bets out of the SB. With the aggression the Button showed on the flop you can feel pretty sure he's going to bet for you.

Why are you checking the river? Bet out and call a raise. Button has 3 pair (AJ or JT) and you're a winner here.

I feared he flopped a set and now had boat

Please please learn to bet that river, what made you think he had a set? Just cause he raised the flop doesn't mean a set..could be TP or a free card play or numerous other things.
slash
I realize that's what you feared, but why did you fear that? Just because it was possible? He didn't show any aggression PF. He seems likely to have 3-bet TT or JJ.

Even if you're afraid of that, you should still bet out and call a raise.

damn you're good.

Villan had 10-J

I was stupid to not consider that he did not raise pf..therfore a Set is improbable. How bout 44...ah..nm...I can't fear the worst.

Ok...I was a big pussy on that river.

Did I mention I'm gonig to read SSHE and other books asap.
