800 out of 1700 left in the tourney, Ive played one hand and missed the flop, havent seen ANYTHING and get blinded down to 650 with blinds 75/150.

Im BB w/ 7c8c

Mp1 limps, mp2 limps, mp3 limps button pushes for 700, SB folds, pot is now about 1200 and its 500 to me

It's going to be hard to catch up with a playable hand later.

You need to be making a move before you get blinded down so far. Just as long as there is no raise in front of you, get in there and gamble earlier. Once you're there in the BB, yes, you made the correct play.

yea thats what I was thinking a while ago,every time(or almost everytime I make it far I have been desperate around the time the blinds get to 50/100, I play pretty tight at first so if I dont get cards i dont play. this problem happens more in Party structures because say I DO get a hand during the 15/30 blinds, Im virtually crippled if I get 4 callers miss and make a continuation bet. The only solution to this would be to go agressive, but I dont thing that would work against these guys.

I like th e call. You're at the point now where you need to get lucky and those 2 cards will definately be live.

I think its a good call. Pot is offering good odds, you need to gamble, and you may triple up if there is another caller behind you.
