Heads up, I'd raise the river. The overcalls here are ok though, as you've only got the fifth best flush.

There's really not much else you can do here. Realize that these guys will pay you off big time eventually.

eh, i don't like raising the flop.

call the flop and raise a good turn card.

see the section on protecting your hand when the pot is large, in SSHE.

The pot has to be huge. I think you need to go back and reread that section yourself. Im not sure if you understand what "protecting" a hand is.

yeah, you're right. it's not extremely large.

i was thinking that half the deck cripples you probably and making the field face two on the flop still wouldn't mean anything.

I raised the flop due to having a big pair and the third best flush draw, and I did hope to maybe push out some of those behind me.
