This book is amazing!
It picks up right where volume 1 left off. Starting with the making moves section. If you felt the value betting section of volume 1 was straightforward, ABC poker, it was. Harrington lays out the various conditions needed for making moves, and what moves to make at what times, in a very straightforward manner.
The next section deals with inflection points, and in my opinion (as well as many others) the most valuable section in the book. If you've ever felt lost and helpless when your stack dwindles due to ever increasing blinds, this section will clear a lot of things up. The bulk of volume one dealt with when your stack was more than 20 times the initial pot. This section shows you how to play when your stack is below this (10-20, 6-10, and 1-5).
The 3rd section deals with shorthanded play. Again, very valuable.
The heads up section also clearly shows how to navigate through murky situations. It also gives an example using the D'agastino/Ivey match hand by hand analysis from 2004.
The book concludes with miscellaneous topics such as deal making and satellite tournaments. There is also an analysis of the bluff DN put on Deeb in the Plaza tournament, and details the setup that allowed that move to be made.
All in all, I think this book will help pros and amateurs alike. It had more meat than volume 1, so if you liked the first one, get this!
Also, he mentions at the end that there will be a volume 3, which will be put together in a quiz format so that the reader can identify their strengths/weaknesses.
