NL game. Say you have KK in BB, raise it up preflop and get 1-2 callers. An A drops on the flop and you are first to act. Do you bet first to represent the A or just check?

If you bet out and get called and the turn is of no help to you, what do you do then? There are no obvious draws on the board.

My problem is that not betting the flop seems too passive after my preflop raise. I usually bet it for info, but I can't put people on a hand if they just call. If I bet the flop and check the turn, that pretty much screams weakness and lets people with draws take shots at me. What do you guys usually do?

Bet. The. Flop.

Make a 2/3 sized bet on the flop. Consider betting the turn as well.
