So I think I played this pretty badly. I was on the phone but that is no excuse. How does capping the turn and bet/calling the river sound?

I think he has a set or an overpair here. I would cap the turn where you are pretty sure you have the best hand. The only hand that you had beat on the turn that has you beat on the river is JJ. I would bet the river and call if he raises.
