I've read SSHE and am a pretty succesful limit player. i've read a few nl books but haven't been able to take much away from them. is the nl and tournament section of the aforementioned book worth the price alone and is it at all advanced? i don't want to buy it just to find out its for absolute beginners that don't know such things as rules and betting rounds. i guess im looking for nl version of SSHE.

SS2 has a great NL section, and if you're interested in NL tournaments (and Limit) check out Tom McEvoy's and T.J. Cloutiers "Championship Limit & No Limit Holdem"

I did a brief review of the book here: http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...pic.php?t=11235

While I am ab out half way through SSHE, I can confidently say that Getting Started In Hold'em is not the NL version of SSHE. GSIHE talks about the differences in playing with a short stack and a large stack, and has an interesting short stack strategy.

The tournament section gives an overview of MTT"s, SNG, and satelities, and gives a basic strategy for each type of tourney, while I found this section more useful than the NL section, it is still rather basic stuff.
