I'm suprised by this series. Not because its 2-2, but because none of the games have been close. I'm actually finding the finals a little boring (and I'm a big hoops fan). The Pistons seem to have the momentum now. I would have to pick them in game 5, but at this point anything can happen.
Least. Watchable Finals. Ever.
I gotta agree here. I wathced the Spurs-Suns series and the Pistons-Heat series, and I found both of those entertaining. But this series just lacks energy. There's only one exciting player to watch in Manu Ginobili (and he hasnt played well the last 2 games) Thats not to say that Duncan and Hamilton are not good players, but they do not generate the highlites Manu does. Now combine that with games that arent even close in the 4th quater, and it just isnt entertaining. After the half, it almost seems as there's no point in even watching.
The appeal for this series was that the 2 teams were closely matched and people were expecting close, hard fought games. In the first 2 games, the Spurs showed up to play and Pistons didnt. In games 3&4, the Pistons came to play but the Spurs didnt. And thats a huge dissapointment. At least in the conference finals I felt all the teams were trying hard.
I wonder what are the ratings for this series? I bet they are not too good and advertisors are ticked. To all you NBA/Stern conspiracy theorists, just watch the next 3 games be nail biters.
