I see posts like this at 2+2 from time to time, but I don't want to start posting there yet.

Anyway, just thought I would share my short term plans for poker and solicit advice. Also, I've only been playing limit seriously for a couple months, so there are a lot of situations I still have doubts about.

I've probably logged 20,000 hands of $1/$2 at FullTilt, and I have the bankroll to play $2/$4, but I want to make sure my game is solid before moving up. Also, I've only been playing limit seriously for a couple months, so there are a lot of situations I still have doubts about. This is hard to do without Poker Traker, so I plan to play 10,000 hands of $1/$2 at Party in the next month or so and check my PT stats. If everything looks good, then I'll move up to $2/$4.

In terms of study, I should go through SSHE again. I should also look closely at TOP, which I read when I was pretty new to poker. I think I can get a lot more out of it now. Anybody think I should also read HEPFAP yet, or will it not really apply to my stakes?

Lord, don't even consider reading HEFAP now.

I got it as a gift, and it's only a little more applicable to $2/$4 than Seven Card Stud for Advanced Players.

read TOP and HEPFAP for sure. Good books, just make sure you know what contradicts SSHE and why.

Inside the poker mind is another really good one. Read it after those other ones.

I plan on finishing inside the poker mind. Rereading TOP. and logging 4-5 hours a day instead of 2-3.
