I put this in strategy because I wanted some actual insight into the sites not just, oh yeah this one is cool.

I want to start on a new site and have been having trouble picking one out.

I really only enjoy playing shorthand games and would like to see a site that has more then just 1/2 and 5/10 (ie party).

I'd like to play 2/4 short and it can't be on Pokerroom seeing as my account there is disabled till Oct. due to the fact that they have BlackJack and I am a degenerate gambler.

Any helpful insight as to where the good games are would be welcomed.

p.s. I know I am asking a lot out of some of you giving up your goldmines, so if you don't want to post the info on here shoot me a pm and I will keep it quite.

Paradise is very soft, as is Gaming Club Poker. Easy bonuses to clear, if that is your cup of tee.

I still find Pokerstars 10-tables to be very soft ($1-$2 and below). I have the odd losing table, but very rarely do I have a losing session (maybe 1/10 sessions).

Just yesterday, a Pokerstars genius remarked that I should "keep chasing my trash" after I dragged two monster pots jamming with (and hitting) the nut flush draw. His comment made dollar signs appear in my eyes, just like in the cartoons.

But I have limited experience elsewhere, so take my comments with a boulder of salt.

Hard to say whether his comments were justified or not without some more details about your holdings, his holdings, the board, etc. but I concur that there is a ton of money to be had on Pokerstars as well...

I give no details, Rocket. That's part of my charm, or ennui, or some other word I don't fully comprehend.

(Really, though, do you think I'd jam a draw without the odds to do so? Please.)

No idea, as I have never (to my knowledge) played with you. For me personally though, I don't ram and jam on too many draws, unless I have the odds you mention. Look at it from the other person's perspective though, and then think about what they said.

I have. From their perspective, I am a chasing fish. That means that they don't know how to calculate pot odds, or why they are important. I love poker. smile.gif

I screw around there once in a while on the .50/1 1/2 and 2/4 6 max tables.

I played .50/1 for a whole week a month or so ago, with $45 I forgot I had in there. Made $623 in a week.

Yes, good variance, obviously, but super duper soft tables full of fish buying in with $10 of their $13 bankroll, and call call call folding it away.

If you can table select at all you should kill that site. $2/$4's noticibly softer than $1/$2 for whatever reason also. At least in my breif experince.

I dig the new avatar, smash.

Starting to worry about your potentially unhealthy relationship with Hello Kitty, though. Even in the hippie goth emo version of it.

I kid, I kid. Like the nightclub owner guy in Boogie Nights: "Wear what you dig."
