563 hands on villian. was a regular at the PS 2/4 game.
he is SLAA (Semi loose aggressive aggressive)
25/9/3.8

It looked standard at first, but on second thought, it might not be. I hope this doesn't turn in to a giant argument.

I guess he could have AK or AJ here.

I'm not familiar enough with PT stats, but there are a lot of players I would call this hand down against.

Yeah, but I think I need some actual playing experience, so I can associate 25/9/3.8 with a particular type of player.

I know it means VP$IP =25%
PRF = 9%
AF = 3.8

But I think I will get a better feel for the stats once I start using PT, which I plan to when I whore the Party skins.

Tens are pain in the ass.

I probably three-bet or fold the flop on a radomize 2/3 fold 1/3 raise.

this was my thinking too.
does your play here hold for a SLAA player? would you maybe fold 1/3 raise 2/3?

quit using so much game theory. Put villian on a range of hands for me, chris.

My guess would be AK-AJ, KQ, KJ, AA-99 perhaps

FYP.

What do we do with the given knowledge?

Maybe.

I've if I've seen him three-bet AQ regularly I'd be a little less likely to adjust the raising that high.

I fixed the range above, I just smoked when I was typing.

Call call the turn, if an A or K comes on the river it improves AK, AJ, KJ of the range we put him on. we'd be getting 8.25-1 on his (possible) river bet. We're still beating about 1/3 of his range, profitable call on the river too, or is my thinking wrong?
wrto4556
If the river was an ace and he bet, damn this would be a fun hand.

yes, we are in a wa/wb situation of sorts. b/c-c/c-c/c seems standard. But, im not sure if villian would bet 77 or 99 when the river is an ace...

I'd be inclined to say A icon_suit_diamond.gif J Q 10 or K. The only other thing I would put him on was a pp maybe JJ-77. Ooo...and I will throw in 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif 3.

I would have 3 bet the flop. Heads up he could have had a large array of starting hands that you are well ahead of. The check on the river is pretty blatant that he is either a donk checking a flush when the board pairs, or he was making a stab at the pot on the flop and the turn, and when you weren't folding he decided to just check the bluff down and hope his Ax was good for the win.

This river check really confuses the shit out of me...

He three-bet preflop, so I'm inclined to think JJ, 99 or AK as hands that might check behind on the river.

He flop bet wasn't a free-card play. I've always been SLAA, and I'd be raising with JJ 99 or AK (backdoor flush draw) on this flop.

Hmm...
