Maybe I'm not grasping this correctly - so the best place to ask is probably here.

I just got SSHE which is every bit as good as you guys have said. However, when Sklansky talks about mid pocket pairs (preflop) he seems to be advocating limping with them unless you're in late position. When I see them talked about on FCP, most people seem to advocate raising with them from early or middle position.

Are both acceptable? Am I wrong in either regard? Any help would be appreciated.

See the bottom half of page 90. When you are first to enter, you should raise or fold the PP, depending on its strength.
