I'm sure this question has been asked over 1000000 times but I am relatively new to poker (only been playing for 2 months) and have been mostly successfull. I was just wondering where the best sites for Real Money play are. Right now I play at Pacific Poker and was just wondering where others play and view as the best sites. Thanks.
Peace,

The best thing to do is to check out the Online Poker Forum at:

There are a number of threads about various online sites, best place to play limit, sit-n-go's, etc etc.

When players talk about the best site, there'll usually either referring to the software or how soft the competition is. I care much more about the latter, and have found that Party Poker in general has the weakest players. I've also played on Paradise Poker, Ultimate Bet, and PokerStars.

I used to play Pokerstars exclusively, then my buddy got me to try FullTilt because of Razz. I tried some of their $10 holdem sitngos, and they are infiinitely easier than stars. Had someone go allin last night, 3 players, all even stacks, with 69o vs my AKsuited. Had people call my allins on the river with 4 outers. Just horrid horrid play.

Until the Negreanu Open and the requirement to open a poker stars account, I played exclusively at Victor Chandler vcpoker.com
I liked this when I started off because the games were low stakes. It also has a very strong UK community so there is a wide variety of games to take part in during my peak recreation times.
Also I have taken time out to sign up with Poker Mountain, however, this is in a growth period and is becoming established, but I have a feeling most members of this board will become involved with this site more and more when our tournaments move their.
Out of the three I have mentioned I feel VC has the best software. And I also think softer play than Poker Stars. Need to give Poker Mountain more time.
Hope that helps?

I have money accounts at Stars and Ultimate Bet, but I think pacific poker is a good choice, tons of fish over there just waiting for you to take there money

Pacific Poker has the easiest games to beat. Even at limits as high as 15/30 the flop percentages are as high as 50%. Pokerstars has the tightest games. At the 50./1.00 level I've seen flop percentages under 30%.

I have made the most money at Pacific, and I like the outlay, graphics and such. But their customer service and software problems became to much for me, so I went back to Pokerstars. I think Pokerstars has the best software etc. There are always alot of players, but I do think they have the best players as well. I like their SNG's and multi-tables alot as well.
I haven't played much at Party Poker because I can't seem to past the layout. I hate the little fake people that you supposedly are at the table, lol.

I like Stars the best but pacific is where you can make alot if you can stand the slowness of the site.
