Was reading the blog for today tourny ...

Still, I continued to watch the table as Negreanu got involved in a raised pot with one other player. The board showed AKx with two diamonds after the flop. Both players checked. Another diamond fell on the turn and Negreanu bet the pot, forcing his opponent to lay down his hand.

With something resembling glee, Negreanu flipped up 23o and giggled, "Three-high."

The table took with good spirits, and Negreanu's eventual explanation was unnecessary.

Cant wait to hear more of his blog

"I've been showing the nuts too many times," he said. "Okay, that's my bluff for the day."

Lol.... I love it. When he makes a move like that it's quite humorous.

Hopefully he can get his stack back up. I don't have any doubts in my mind that he will though. Go Daniel!

I actually pulled off my own 3 hi today playing 5/10 laugh.gif gave myself a pretty good laugh. I'm in the big blind with 23 offsuit, flop comes out rags. It gets checked around and I pretty much figure nobody hit, turn comes another rag, I bet out, get 2 callers and I put them both on overcards, since they had a tendency to do that, river comes another rag, I bet out again and everybody folds. So I showed the 3 hi just for the heck of it laugh.gif who knows maybe it'd put somebody on tilt. I ended up crushing the table though and cashed out quite a bit in an Hour, as I had to go get something else done. Feels great when your reads are right on and you know when somebody will bet into you, so that you can check raise them. It's a great feeling when you maximize your pots that you win.

It gets "checked around" to you? As the BB, wasn't the SB the only one to act before you?

LOL, I was reading along here thinking this was a current thread. Just under four years to respond to a post--that's classic.
