.5/10 PokerRoom. Took a shot with 200x BB.

3rd hand at the table. PF call 49%, avg. pot 7.3 BB

Hero has K:diamond:Q:club: in BB

*** Pre-Flop *** :
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 folds, MP calls, MP+1 calls, 3 folds, Hero calls

Seemed standard to me

*** Flop *** : K:club:A:heart:K:heart: (4 handed, 8 SB)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, MP+1 raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP folds, MP+1 caps, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flopped a set with a good kicker. Can't wait to get actions from the aces that may be sprinkled throughout. Thinking that UTG+1 is on the flush draw and MP+1 has A-rag, a lower king, maybe A:heart:x:heart:

*** Turn *** : [ K:club: A:heart: K:heart: ] 3:heart: (21 SB)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP+1 calls and is all in

With the aggressor gone, I figure I'll bet pretty much any non-heart on the river.

*** River *** : [ K:club: A:heart: K:heart: 3:heart: ] 2:diamond:(13.5 BB)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls.

Really weird behavior by UTG here. The preflop raise says he wouldn't have hit this flush (since the A and K are already out). Has he been ultra-slowplaying a set like me? I decide to call, don't have a lot to gain by 3-betting here. Thinking he's on a AK (and wondering why he didn't raise the turn) or QJs. There's a good shot he has an A though...thinking I missed a bet

*** SUMMARY ***
Pot: 16.5 BB

2 hands later...

Hero is button with Q:spade:Q:club:

*** Pre-Flop *** :
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP calls, 3 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP calls

Standard.

*** Flop *** : 3:heart: J:spade: A:diamond: (3 handed, 7.5 SB)
UTG+2 checks, MP checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 folds, MP raises, Hero calls.

Yeah, I know that was dumb. MP paused for quite a while before checking but hit the check-raise incredibly quick. Am I up against AJ? I figure I should fold or 3-bet here. Calling here seems very dumb...my other tables were beeping like mad and I had to make a quick decision before I was folded, and I sure as hell made the bad one.

From now on, I'll hit the "raise" button by default when the beeping starts 8)

*** Turn *** : [ 3:heart: J:spade: A:diamond: ] 4:diamond: (5.75 BB)
MP bets, Hero folds.

Ok, so I have a vagina. I figure check-calling down is a bad idea because the pot is too small.

*** SUMMARY ***
Pot: 6.75 BB

I think you made a good no-raise on the river in hand 1. He very possibly could have had a flush (although you shouldn't have put him on Ahxh, because Ah is on the board).

For hand 2... definitely autobet the flop. I might have folded to the check-raise, because the pot is small, and you don't want to pay off 2.5 bets to make someone show you an ace. I think you played it fine.

Why are you berating yourself for making a good fold that a vast majority of internet players are incapable of making?
I agree with the above, you played these hands well AND provided pretty good explanations too smile.gif
