well i have over 6000 hands on pokertracker now, and my VPIP seems to be pretty steady around 12%. this seems a bit low. i am pretty aggressive, my AF is around 3 and increases each round except the river. all my other stats are around the ranges suggested by Jayson's thread.

i can post more detailed stats, but anyone have suggestions on hands/positions i should be playing more?

i generally don't play connectors or low pockets except from late position and with several limpers.

One suggestion: start playing all pockets from any position when it is just one bet.

Your early position is good. You need to open up more in later positions. Steal more, start open raising more, and limp with more marginal hands on the button/CO if a donk comes in in front of you.

i'm never sure when i have good button-type hands, say suited connectors or low pockets in late position but only one or two limpers in front of me.
should i be playing suited connectors and the like with only a couple limpers?
i think i am better off playing those hands against passive players, so i can see more cards cheaply, but just thought i'd confirm this, since against more aggressive players i'll get paid off better if they do it. thoughts?

Yes. I limp with alot of suited connectors on the button with only one limper (provided I have control over him). If he is a good player, I am selective. T8s or 98s....the high ones.

You get more when you hit against aggressive players, but you also lose more when you miss.
