Well, KTs may be the best hand, but if I call, the SB is going to call with alot of things as is the BB because he is getting priced in with just about any two cards (he plays goot postflop). Also, the last thing I want is to let a solid player in. With those players in, I have no control over the pot with a marginal hand. I didn't raise preflop and I am going to pay 2 bets to fold on a bunch of flops.
3-betting is OK, but I dont know the COs raising standards.
I agree you lose control if you only call but I still think you have a good enough hand to warrant it. Against two random hands and one decent hand I think you easily have more than a 25% equity in the pot which is how much money you're putting in. While the BB is worrisome, it is unlikely he'll be able to move you off a winning hand unless your K high is good or both a K and an A hit so I'm not as worried about being outplayed.
Finally, you also have position on everyone. if you get a mediocre flop (one heart and two overs) it will probably be checked to the CO who will bet and you can raise to shut out the blinds. If the flop is better than that for you, than it's pretty easy to bet/raise the flop IMO.
