I went to download Gametime + yesterday from the pokertracer website, and the link took me to a message board (?) with the download link. So I clicked on the link and asked me to select a mirror (?) to download from...I think.

Please help this computer illiterate out. Is this the legit way to go? What the hell is a mirror? And if this is legit, which one do I select.

thats wierd. I never heard of a mirror before. Search 2+2 for gametimeplus and you should find a good link in the internet forum(the zoo).

A mirror is just an alternate site to get your software from. They are often used when the original site is too busy to serve all the download requests all by itself. And, generally, if you are asked to select a mirror by the original site, it's safe.
